We are very happy and proud to announce that today the accreditation of Sudan University of Science & Technology (SUST) – ICE Student Chapter within the records of the British Society of Civil Engineers (ICE) has been officially approved.
جائزة هالت الجمعية البريطانية للمهندسين المدنيين is an independent professional association of civil engineers that was established in the early 19th century as the world’s first professional engineering body.
تهدف الجمعية إلى دعم مهنة الهندسة المدنية من خلال التأهيل المهني، تعزيز التعليم، الحفاظ على الأخلاقيات المهنية، وتوضيد العلاقات مع الصناعة، الأوساط الأكاديمية، و المؤسسات الحكومية.
The main objective of establishing SUST – ICE Student Chapter is to nurture and promote the art and science of civil engineering among students.

ختتمت بأرض المعارض ببري فعاليات معرض أسواق العقار الذي شاركت فيه كلية الهندسة بجامعة السودان للعلوم والتكنولوجيا بجناح عكس الأدوار التي تلعبها الجامعة في مختلف جوانب العملية العقارية من تسويق وتطوير وتدريب وتقديم الاستشارات .. والذي كان في الفترة من 7-10يوليو تحت إشراف قسم التدريب بكلية الهندسة ومتابعة الدكتور الطاهر أبو القاسم عميد الكلية ورعاية البروفيسور عوض سعد حسن مدير الجامعة ومشاركة عدد كبير من الأساتذة والاستشاريين والطلاب.
Dr. Altahir Abu Algasim explained, saying: “Our participation came from the standpoint of providing consulting services and training provided by the college and the Engineering Consulting and Training Center at the college. The participation was a good opportunity to present our training courses and engineering consultancy in all fields related to civil, mechanical, electrical, surveying and all other disciplines in the college, and in particular the assessment of assets and real estate.”
He also mentioned that the College of Engineering is the only body that provides courses in the real estate field, and referring to the distinguished agreement and partnership with the Central Bank of Sudan, which resulted in the implementation of 17 training courses. Furthermore, a training course was conducted during the exhibition, that found a great turnout and attendance.
Dr. Altahir also explained that the companies and institutions that participated in the exhibition were working in the field of real estate development and marketing, but the university’s participation was distinguished and unique in reviewing scientific and research consultations, real estate appraisal, and knowledge and logistical support. He also indicated that the outcomes of their participation in the exhibition were represented in: Opening channels for scientific communication and building smart and wide partnerships for exchanging experiences, consulting and training.
It is worth mentioning that the visitors of the exhibition confirmed that the university’s participation in the exhibition gained them knowledge of the true and correct form of real estate financing, and everyone demanded that they conduct more qualification and advisory courses so that they can evaluate the real estate market without resorting to (brokers) who present wrong, unreported or studied studies.
The administration of the College of Engineering has announced to all BEng and BTech students at various levels (second, third, fourth and fifth) for the academic year 2019-2020 that entry to the examination halls will be allowed only with a valid university card and that any student who does not complete his registration procedures will not be allowed to sit for exams.

The administration of the College of Engineering announces to all Bachelor and Bachelor of Technology students at various levels (second, third, fourth and fifth) for the academic year 2019-2020 and the second level for the academic year 2020-2021 to complete registration, so that examination lists can be prepared. قام البروفيسور عوض سعد حسن مدير جامعة السودان للعلوم والتكنولوجيا بزيارة تفقدية لكلية الهندسة يرافقه الدكتور يس حمدان نائب وكيل الجامعة وكان في إستقبالهم الدكتور الطاهر أبو القاسم عميد كلية الهندسة. قام السيد المدير بطواف واسع لكافة مرافق الكلية، وقف خلالها علي المجهودات المبذولة وأوصى بضرورة المواصلة والمتابعة لاجل راحة طلاب الكلية.
The Vice Chancellor made a tour of all the facilities of the college, during which he stood on the efforts being made and recommended the need to continue and follow up improvement processes for the convenience of the college students.
